Observed drawing is always my starting point. Subject matter includes landscape, portraiture and architecture. As a printmaker I often combine ancient techniques such as woodcut or dry-point with 21st century (digital).

My own gallery here in Lochcarron is now open most days, generally from about 11 o'clock onwards. Visitors will find more than 100 paintings, drawings and original prints either displayed or available to view. However, it is always a good idea to telephone or email in advance to make sure that I will be around. Examples of my work can usually be seen also at: the Tore Art Gallery; Carron Crafts; and at the Inchmore Gallery.

Once you have found Lochcarron, which is on the A896 some 25 miles north of Kyle of Lochalsh or about 60 miles west of Inverness: "Corrack" is the third house west of the Lochcarron Hotel.
