An awareness of the Scottish painterly tradition has helped Margaret to develop an impressionistic pictorial language well suited to oils. As well as landscape she frequently paints still life and is very attracted to architectural subjects and interesting interiors.

From Inverness take A9 north to the Tore roundabout (7 miles). Leave roundabout at first exit (signed Muir of Ord). Tore Art Gallery is situated a mile and a half on the right (large church building).
